DEVON HOCKER
Devon has over 20 years of fitness training experience. Now, as a Certified Personal Trainer at Supreme Court, he hopes to help members achieve their goals by designing workouts that are fresh and creative. When training with Devon, you will not just be taken from machine to machine week after week. You will be taken through drills that include balance and agility, ab work with medicine balls and strengthening work for muscles you didn't even know you had. And this is all on your first appointment!
KAREN CLARK
Karen began her career in fitness 25 years ago while attending UC Santa Barbara where she worked at the on-campus gym. Although her degrees are in psychology and sociology, her true passion has always been in the fitness field. Karen managed a gym in Australia for two years, directed the group exercise program at SCI for many years and has taught everything from kid's gymnastics and prenatal exercise classes to hard-core power weights and cycling classes.
She has also been a personal trainer for over 20 years, and holds current certifications from ACE in both personal training and group exercise. Karen loves making a healthy, positive difference in others' lives. She has been with Supreme Court Athletic Club for 18 years. Aside from fitness, Karen's other rewarding job is as a mother to three very active daughters.
RICH ROMAN
Rich has worked at Supreme Court for 21 years and been a Personal Trainer for 16 of those years. He received his A.S. in Physical Education at DeAnza College and was certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. And although Rich looks like more of a strength and conditioning coach, he works well with all populations.
MARK LAUBE
Not long ago I weighed 247 lbs.! I suffered back, knee, and hip problems, high blood pressure and cholesterol, even breathing problems. It took some time and determination (still does) but the improved quality of life from loosing the weight and becoming fit has given me hundredfold returns. The pleasure of ease of movement, of just being able to do everyday things, without effort, is a joy. Working as a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer has given me a means to share with others the things I have learned. I continually study and train in order to provide the best of current knowledge to my programs.
